Elizabeth A. Johnston
Elizabeth A. Johnston provides strategic advice to clients on wage and hour compliance, leave and accommodation, and US Department of Labor audit investigations. She also counsels government contractors on compliance with the Service Contract Act, Davis Bacon Act, paid sick leave for federal contractors, and other wage and hour requirements.
Elizabeth manages complex wage and hour compliance reviews, with particular focus on overtime compliance. She collaborates with clients to create compliant policies and practices, particularly with regard to payroll practices, position classifications, and compensation. Elizabeth also provides training to clients and their human resources teams to help guide them with respect to wage and hour compliance.
Elizabeth advises clients in diverse sectors on compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act, state wage and hour issues, paid sick leave, family and medical leave, and wage payment requirements.
