Emmett Weiss focuses his practice on privacy, cybersecurity, and data protection matters. He routinely assists clients with incident response, litigation, government investigations, and compliance with consumer privacy and data protection laws. Emmett began his legal career as an associate at a major international law firm in Washington, DC. He then served as a federal law clerk to Judge Judith E. Levy of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. While in law school, he interned at the US Department of the Treasury.
