Erin McGuine

Erin handles a range of trademark prosecution matters, including counseling clients on clearance search reports and handling opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She is also well versed in obtaining domain name transfers pursuant to the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy and taking down infringing use on various social media platforms on behalf of clients, and counseling on complex licensing and assignment agreements.

Erin is actively involved in the Boston Intellectual Property Law Association, serving as events chair. In addition, Erin is involved in the International Trademark Association and serves as co-chair for the in-person events subcommittee of the Young Practitioners Committee (YPC).

Erin graduated with honors from New England Law | Boston (NELB), where she was the recipient of the New England Law Boston Outstanding Academic Achievement award. While in school, she served as the president of NELB’s Intellectual Property Law Association, and published an article focusing on the interplay of social media and trademark law selected by the New England Law Review. Erin previously interned with the US Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
