Georgina L. O’Hara counsels clients on health and welfare plans, including wellness programs. Her work includes advising companies on regulatory compliance with the US Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, COBRA, the ACA, and HIPAA/HITECH. She drafts and reviews plan documents and negotiates service agreements with third parties. She also assists clients with addressing privacy issues and responding to security breaches. Georgina has an active pro bono practice and has served as the liaison for the Women Against Abuse Legal Center and on the Morgan Lewis Philadelphia office Pro Bono Committee.
In addition, she is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as an Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
Originally an associate in the firm’s litigation practice, Georgina has also counseled clients involved in commercial contract disputes, employment contract disputes, business torts, and breach of fiduciary duty cases. Her litigation experience includes cases involving employee noncompete, nonsolicitation, and trade secret agreements.
