Georgina O'Hara is a member of the firm’s office of the general counsel where she serves as the global chief privacy officer. In this role, Georgina coordinates and oversees the firm’s compliance with applicable global privacy regulations. She is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as an Information Privacy Professional and has 18 years of experience counseling clients on privacy compliance and security breaches.
Extended Profile
Originally an associate in the firm’s litigation practice, Georgina counseled clients involved in commercial contract disputes, business torts, and breach of fiduciary duty cases. She later joined the employee benefits practice where she assisted clients with privacy issues and responding to security breaches. Georgina also served as the firm’s liaison for the Women Against Abuse Legal Center for two decades and on the Morgan Lewis Philadelphia office Pro Bono Committee.
