Edward J. L. (Jay) Southgate focuses primarily on structured finance transactions. Jay regularly represents financial institutions, issuers, underwriters, and other market participants in public offerings and private placements of mortgage and asset-backed securities, and advises on a broad array of issues including compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Jay worked in the investment management division of a major international financial institution and as a capital markets group associate in the New York and Tokyo offices of a major international firm.
