Jeronimo Simonovis advises and defends clients across all areas of employment law, including workplace investigations, contract disputes, wage and hour, and discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters. Jeronimo represents clients in class actions, collective actions, government agency proceedings, and single-plaintiff litigation arising under Title VII, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and similar state and local laws. Jeronimo also provides mandatory compliance trainings, both in English and Spanish.
Jeronimo also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing migrants and asylum seekers in immigration proceedings.
While in law school, Jeronimo served as a student attorney on the University of Illinois Immigration Law clinic and successfully defended clients in their asylum proceedings in front of the US Department of Justice’s Chicago Immigration Court. Prior to law school, Jeronimo worked as a compliance manager for corporations in the oil and gas industry.
