Joshua Nixt advises multinational companies on transfer pricing, valuation, and related economic matters, with a focus on high-stakes planning, audit defense, and dispute resolution. He has a particular focus on transactions requiring careful evaluation of risk, valuation, and economic support.
Josh works with clients across a wide range of intercompany transactions, including intellectual property, cost-sharing arrangements, services, financial transactions, and tangible goods, with particular emphasis on valuation, defensibility, and alignment with the underlying business operations. This includes complex and contested matters involving licensing, IP migrations, and cost-sharing arrangements. His work often involves valuation and financial analyses as well as advanced econometric, data, and modeling analyses.
Josh has significant experience advising life sciences companies, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device clients.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Josh was a principal economist at another global law firm and, before that, a manager at Ernst & Young.
