Kathryn L. Ignash represents clients engaged in complex commercial litigation, with a focus on consumer class actions, unfair business practices, and product liability. She has dedicated her career to defending clients in a variety of industries, including personal care products, retail, food & beverage, medical device, and e-commerce. Kathryn strikes a balance in her ability to efficiently resolve disputes while actively protecting client brands and business interests. She has appeared before state and federal courts, managing high-stakes litigation from inception through trial.
Kathryn has been an integral part of several trial teams, responsible for pre-trial briefs, presentation of exhibits, retaining and handling experts, preparing company witnesses for testimony, and post-trial enforcement. Her practice includes protecting clients from claims of copyright and trademark infringement as well as other deceptive, false, and misleading advertising laws.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Kathryn was a senior managing associate at another law firm, where she successfully secured dispositive rulings on behalf of major firm clients, including by demurrer, motions to dismiss, and summary judgment. In law school, Kathryn served on the editorial board for the San Diego Law Review.
