Kathryn L. Ignash
Kathryn L. Ignash represents clients in complex commercial litigation, with a focus on consumer class actions, unfair business practices, product liability, and toxic torts. She defends clients across a variety of industries, including personal care products, retail, food and beverage, medical devices, and e-commerce. Kathryn balances efficient dispute resolution with protecting client brands and business interests. She has appeared in state and federal courts, managing high-stakes litigation from inception through trial.
Kathryn has been an integral member of several trial teams, with responsibility for pretrial briefing, presentation of exhibits, retaining and working with experts, preparing company witnesses for testimony, and post-trial enforcement. She currently represents a client in a Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding involving large-scale toxic tort litigation with hundreds of complaints and thousands of private plaintiffs. Her practice also includes protecting clients from claims of deceptive, false, and misleading advertising.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Kathryn was a senior managing associate at another law firm, where she secured dispositive rulings on behalf of major clients through demurrers, motions to dismiss, and summary judgment. In law school, Kathryn served on the editorial board of the San Diego Law Review.
