Katya Abelsky defends and counsels employers in labor and employment matters, including single plaintiff and class action litigation. Her practice includes workplace discrimination and retaliation, complex wage and hour litigation, representative actions brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act, and workforce-related counseling.

While in law school, Katya conducted research for the California State Controller’s Office on issues related to COVID-19 and the workplace. Prior to law school, Katya worked at a law firm assisting with the representation of public sector agencies in the negotiation and preparation of collective bargaining agreements and project labor agreements.
