Kingsley C. Nwamah
Kingsley C. Nwamah focuses his practice on financial services litigation, regulation, and enforcement. Kingsley represents financial institutions and businesses in high-stakes litigation, including consumer class actions and complex commercial disputes. Kingsley also regularly counsels financial institutions regarding compliance with state and federal laws relating to unfair business practices, telemarketing, lending and collection practices, data privacy, credit reporting, and other consumer protection statutes. He has also represented financial services providers facing scrutiny from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), state regulators, and state attorneys general.
Kingsley has successfully defended national banks, fintechs, and financial service providers in cases involving the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), state consumer protection and UDAP laws, and state privacy laws.
