Kodai S. Okano focuses his practice on general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, licensing, corporate governance, and compliance. Kodai is fluent in English and Japanese. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Hawaii, New York, and Texas only.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Kodai served as a law clerk to Justice Llinét M. Rosado in the Supreme Court of the State of New York Appellate Division, First Judicial Department and 12th Judicial District. Kodai also worked for a Big 4 accounting firm in Los Angeles and a major Japanese banking corporation in Japan.
