Kyle Downes

Kyle Downes serves intellectual property (IP) clients primarily in patent litigation across many forums. He has experience in researching, drafting, advising, and analyzing issues related to patent infringement.
While in law school, Kyle served as secretary and risk management officer for the Student Bar Association; treasurer for the Black Law Student Association; and as a critical lawyering skills and Asian Pacific American Law Student Association mentor. Also during law school, Kyle interned at an American self-driving car company, where he gained experience in IP capture and open source licenses. Prior to law school, Kyle completed an engineering internship focusing on oil refinery design and HVAC design.
