Liangyu Mao works with the labor and employment team to provide a variety of advice and counseling on all aspects of employment issues, including employment contracts, employee handbooks and company policies, and noncompete agreements. She assists in preparing termination documents for both mutually agreed and unilateral terminations and provides on-site support for clients in strike cases and termination meetings. Liangyu also assists with employment and compliance due diligence in merger and acquisition transactions. Additionally, Liangyu helps the team with labor disputes, including bonus and wrongful termination claims as well as claims for equity awards.
Liangyu spends much of her time assisting with internal investigations regarding bribery and corruption, tender manipulation, conflicts of interest, sexual harassment, discrimination, and other alleged employee misconduct.
