Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Liliya worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Labor and Employment Division of the New York City Law Department. At the Law Department, Liliya represented the City of New York in its role as employer and handled a broad range of employment litigation matters on behalf of City agencies, ranging from single plaintiff discrimination cases to complex federal class and collective actions. In 2017, Liliya was awarded Legal Rookie of the Year, which is a recognition of outstanding performance for first-year attorneys.
