Lindsay Allen advises clients on US and international trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, and portfolio management and enforcement matters, as well as copyright counseling, protection, and enforcement strategies. A trusted counselor to clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations, Lindsay has experience in a wide variety of industries, including entertainment, social media, fashion, sports, emerging technology, software, hardware, finance, pharmaceutical, and higher education. Lindsay has represented clients in federal court and before key regulatory bodies, such as the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), the US Copyright Office, and the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Lindsay was a partner at another global law firm. Prior to entering private practice, Lindsay worked at a small legislative branch federal government agency, where she advised on intellectual property matters.
Lindsay maintains an active pro bono practice, dedicating her efforts to securing housing and disability benefits for Washington, DC’s homeless community.
