Margaret Fishkin Ruiz
Margaret Fishkin Ruiz is the firm’s director of emerging legal solutions, where she is responsible for guiding the research, planning, launch, and support of new services, products, and offerings within the data analytics and governance practice. In her role, Margaret works in close coordination with lawyers and clients to harness technology and creative thinking to streamline data management, automate processes, and strengthen existing workflows.
Margaret has more than 20 years of experience managing complex eDiscovery and legal technology matters for litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters. Her work includes advising case teams on discovery strategy, data governance, review workflows, analytics, productions, and AI-enabled legal technology solutions, while overseeing matters from initial data identification through final resolution and disposition.
She served as a trusted advisor to litigation teams on defensible, scalable discovery processes and the effective use of technology in large, data-intensive matters. Her experience includes developing case-specific workflows and protocols, managing cross-functional teams, and supporting high-stakes matters involving complex data environments.
Before transitioning to legal technology, Margaret practiced as a special projects attorney and patent and trademark attorney.
