Matthew E. Cooper

Matthew Cooper has experience litigating a wide range of matters in both state and federal courts. Matt represents banks and other corporations in business disputes and government investigations, and regularly practices in the Commercial Division of the New York Supreme Court. In 2026, Matt received the New York office’s pro bono award for his post-conviction representation of an individual who had received ineffective assistance of counsel at the trial level, securing the reversal of that conviction and dismissal of all charges.
