Matthew D. O’Keefe
Matthew D. O’Keefe advises clients in civil and criminal enforcement proceedings and complex commercial litigation. He represents financial institutions, public and private companies, and individuals in state and federal court and in arbitration proceedings. Matt works with clients across a variety of sectors, including financial services, energy, and life sciences.
From 2024–2025, Matt served as a law clerk to Judge William J. Martini in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Matt’s pro bono practice includes helping veterans and their families access state and federal resources, and advocating for the civil rights of people who are incarcerated.
In law school, he worked as a student attorney at the Veterans Law and Disability Benefits Clinic at Harvard Law School’s Legal Services Center, and as an extern for the Appeals Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
