Nancy Nguyen represents employers facing labor and employment lawsuits in California state courts, in US federal courts, and in private arbitration. Her experience includes complex wage and hour class actions brought under California and federal law, representative actions brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), and single-plaintiff matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblowing claims. Nancy maintains an active pro bono practice, representing refugees in immigration matters and working with victims of domestic violence. She successfully secured asylum for clients from Eritrea and Ethiopia. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Nancy practiced in the litigation group of a large law firm in Orange County, where she represented clients in all types of business and securities litigation, including contract disputes and shareholder class actions. While in law school, Nancy served as the managing editor of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law & Public Policy. She also competed nationally with the Duke Law Mock Trial team and advocated for children and their parents as a student attorney in the Children’s Law Clinic.
