Nicholas C. Hall
Nick Hall focuses on employment litigation and restrictive covenants/trade secrets disputes. Nick has advised and guided employers through sensitive personnel matters regarding the full range of the employee lifecycle from hiring, terminations, harassment and discrimination, performance management processes, accommodations, leave matters, commission plans, compliance, and worker classifications. Nick has also advised clients on the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Nick has worked in various legal settings, advising both private and public clients. He clerked for Judge Robin M. Meriweather on the US District Court for the District of Columbia (now serving on the US Court of Federal Claims). In addition, he previously served as an Honors Attorney for the US Department of Labor, associate general counsel for the AFL-CIO, and associate general counsel for the US House of Representatives (representing the offices of elected congressional members, officers, and committees).
Nick is a proud alumnus of the Institute for Responsible Citizenship and a member of the Alfred Street Baptist Church. He remains actively engaged with both his alma maters’ alumni associations (Vanderbilt University and Penn Carey Law). He enjoys building community, curating the perfect Spotify playlist for special moments, snorkeling, and exploring neighborhoods around the world. Although a native Arkansan by way of Tennessee, he and his wife currently live in Alexandria, VA with their son.
Nick also serves as an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt Law School.
