Yaneeke Samuels
Yaneeke (Nikki) Samuels leads eDiscovery client service operations and strategic initiatives for Morgan Lewis’s data analytics and governance (DAG) practice across the firm’s eData information governance, eDiscovery, and contract management and analytics service offerings. In her role, she oversees the Client Services Project Management team and works closely with lawyers, technologists, and client service professionals to deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions that help clients navigate complex data, regulatory, and discovery challenges.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning legal operations, litigation support, legal technology, and business strategy, Nikki advises clients and internal stakeholders on the management of electronically stored information, defensible discovery practices, data strategy, and operational efficiencies throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle. Her experience includes supporting large-scale, data-intensive matters, managing complex litigations, coordinating cross-functional discovery workflows, and supporting trial teams through all phases of litigation, including courtroom and hot seat support in fast-paced and highly regulated environments.
Nikki leverages technology-assisted review, artificial intelligence (AI), analytics platforms, and emerging legal technologies to enhance discovery workflows, improve operational efficiency, mitigate risk, and support scalable client solutions.
She is particularly focused on the evolving intersection of law, technology, AI innovation, and change management, and regularly collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to implement strategic initiatives and modernize legal service delivery.
In addition to her client-facing and operational leadership responsibilities, Nikki is passionate about professional development, innovation, and advancing technology adoption within the legal industry. Her practical, solutions-oriented approach enables teams to align legal objectives with evolving technology capabilities to deliver high-quality service that minimizes both risk and cost.
