In state and federal courts across the United States, Patrick K.A. Elkins represents clients in matters involving environmental law, insurance recovery litigation, product liability, toxic torts, and general commercial litigation. His complex commercial litigation experience includes cases involving groundwater contamination, oil spills, insurance recovery, and contract disputes. Patrick also handles compliance investigations, responds to third-party subpoenas, and defends corporations in product liability and premises defense matters relating to energy and the life sciences.
Patrick served as vice-chair of the Pro Bono Committee for the firm’s Houston office. His pro bono work includes representing clients in matters involving veterans' benefits, immigration, family law, and child advocacy concerns.
