Phil Sarid focuses his practice in the areas of securitization and structured finance. Phil represents issuers, underwriters, borrowers, and lenders in a wide range of transactions, including issuances of mortgage- and asset-backed securities, and acquisitions and financings of various types of assets.
While in law school, Phil served as a legal extern in the Enforcement Division of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland, and as articles editor for the Journal of Business and Technology Law. Prior to law school, Phil summered at an event-driven hedge fund and a leading international investment bank.
