Richard P. Hand represents clients in a wide range of complex matters including internal and government investigations, and white collar litigation. He has represented clients throughout the investigation and litigation process and has played key roles in litigating some of the most significant matters in the country in recent years.
Ricky’s clients include financial institutions and pharmaceutical manufacturers. He currently serves as a lead associate in defending a global pharmaceutical manufacturer against claims asserted by third party payers across the country. While previously defending the company against claims brought by attorneys general and private hospitals, Ricky provided key litigation support to multiple state teams simultaneously at all stages of litigation and served as the lead associate for defensive discovery and settlement. In this role, Ricky assisted in developing and executing the discovery strategy adopted by the nationwide defense team.
While in law school, Ricky interned at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the Senate Committee on Banking Housing and Urban Affairs, and the Office of Management and Budget – Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.
