Richard Westmoreland defends employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters, from single-plaintiff disputes to complex class actions, often involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour violations, and California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims. Leveraging an M.B.A. and years of hands-on business experience, Richard brings a commercially informed approach to legal problem-solving for his clients. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Richard served as law clerk to Judge Andrew G. Schopler of the US District Court for the Southern District of California.
