R. Ryan Hoak

R. Ryan Hoak regularly represents US and international clients in a variety of antitrust and competition matters, including governmental investigations and complex, high-stakes antitrust lawsuits. He counsels clients in antitrust disputes through every stage of litigation, from dispositive motion practice to discovery, class certification, and settlement. Ryan advises clients on the response process and strategy for second requests and civil investigative demands. He also has experience working on premerger notification under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ryan worked as an antitrust associate at another global law firm and served as a pro bono attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Federal Public Defender.
