Samy A. Akli
Samy A. Akli advises emerging companies and investors across the full venture lifecycle, from entity formation and Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE) financings through Series Seed and later-stage rounds, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, and general corporate matters. Drawing on his French legal background, Samy also advises on cross-border transactions, particularly the restructuring of French companies into Delaware corporations to facilitate access to the US venture capital market.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Samy spent three years as an emerging companies and venture capital associate at a prominent Silicon Valley law firm and two years at various French law firms, where he developed his domestic and cross-border skills. Samy is bilingual in French and English.
