Tamara Adams advises clients on a broad range of litigation matters, including civil and criminal investigations and complex commercial disputes. She previously served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Tanya Walton Pratt of the US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Prior to law school, Tamara was an investigative specialist at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. She now maintains an active pro bono practice focused on protecting civil liberties and civil rights.
Tamara graduated from Howard University School of Law. While in law school, she was vice president of the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy team. Tamara also worked as a student attorney in Howard Law’s Criminal Justice Clinic and Child Welfare and Family Justice Clinic. She also served as a Henry Ramsey dean’s fellow, teaching first year law students legal writing and citation techniques.
