Tristan C. Deering represents a wide range of clients, including direct lenders, institutional lenders, corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, and other financial institutions, in complex domestic and international finance transactions. He has experience in secured credit financing, leveraged acquisition financing, cross-border transactions, private placements, workouts, and out-of-court restructurings.
While in law school, Tristan served as executive editor of the Virginia Tax Review, was a law ambassador, and led the Admissions Office’s Student Life Panel program. He also held leadership positions in several law-and-business student organizations and was a member of the university’s prestigious Jefferson Society.
Before law school, Tristan worked at a Big Four firm in Frankfurt, Germany, where he focused on financial services tax and legal matters.
