Morgan Lewis is a sponsor of the Pittsburgh Technology Council's Venture In Series. Venture In is a new series of programs aimed at strengthening relationships between Pittsburgh's entrepreneurial community and the nation's leading venture capital organizations.
This session will feature Ray Lane, Managing Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers (KPCB). Prior to KPCB, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Oracle. Before joining Oracle, Mr. Lane was a Senior Partner with Booz Allen Hamilton and led that firm's Information Technology practice worldwide. Mr. Lane sits on the boards of Fisker Automotive, GreatPoint Energy, Luca Technologies, Next Autoworks, Hara, Aquion Energy, Xsigo and Elance. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Hewlett-Packard.
Kleiner Perkins is ranked the as the most active venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. They have backed entrepreneurs in over 500 ventures, including AOL, Amazon.com, Citrix, and Compaq Computer.
