National Mining Association Uranium Recovery Workshop

We are pleased to announce that Morgan Lewis associate Ryan Lighty will present at the National Mining Association Uranium Recovery Workshop. His presentation will cover Virginia Uranium, Inc. v. Warren, a constitutional pre-emption case with important implications for the entire nuclear industry. The Supreme Court’s decision in this case could influence future state legislative efforts to erect barriers to nuclear energy through “bottleneck” laws. 

The workshop features current issues affecting the uranium recovery industry and focuses on enhancing and promoting a better understanding of regulatory trends and the uranium recovery licensing program.
