IP Roundtable: Wrapping Up 2019 and What to Expect in 2020

December 10, 2019
07:00 pm - 08:00 PM | Program
08:00 pm - 09:00 PM | Reception

Join Morgan Lewis partners Mike Dreznes, Chris Bright, and Nate Smith for a discussion on developments in the law on Section 101 in 2019, both in the federal courts and at the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), that are having substantial impact on the procurement and enforcement of software-related patents and med-tech related patents.

Our discussion will include analysis of the Federal Circuit and district court Section 101 landscape as it developed in 2019. We will also discuss practical tips and pointers in view of the USPTO's 2019 Revised Patent Subject Matter Eligibility Guidance and how it has been implemented over the last year. Immediately following the discussion, please join us for a reception featuring hors d'oeuvres and refreshments, and a special presentation by the Jessie Rees Foundation.
