The outcome of the 2020 US presidential and congressional elections will have great consequences, both short-term and long-term, for companies and institutional investors in the telecom, media, and tech (TMT) sector.

Please join Morgan Lewis TMT practice leader Andy Lipman for a complimentary post-election TMT industry overview. Based on what we will learn from the November 3 election results, Andy will explore the following day, in considerable detail, the likely policy and practical ramifications of a re-election of President Donald Trump or, alternatively, the election of former Vice President Joe Biden on the legal, antitrust, and regulatory landscape of issues affecting the TMT sector.

He will also closely examine results for the House and Senate chambers, especially likely relevant committee and subcommittee makeup of the commerce and other relevant committees. Andy will also forecast the likely US government-led scenarios that the industry will face over the next four years as well as possible policy changes and the makeup of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the US Department of Justice (DOJ), and other relevant government agencies.
