Associate Catherine Eschbach participated on a panel for the Houston Bar Association’s Federal Practice section, offering her thoughts on best practices for the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit based on her experiences clerking during the panel, “Lessons for practice from clerking at the Fifth Circuit.” The panel was well received with about 145 live viewers, but subsequent to the event the YouTube link to the video was posted on the blog How Appealing and the panel moderator, Raffi Melkonian, who is very active in the #appellatetwitter world tweeted about the event and Orin Kerr also tweeted out a link to the video. The event received very positive feedback from other appellate practitioners in the Texas legal community.
