The National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s 2022 Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair

Partner Justin Weitz will speak at the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s 2022 Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair. This conference addresses issues in government enforcement careers for LGBTQ+ lawyers, including coming out, affinity groups, and working under management that may change with the political winds.

Justin will speak about recent enforcement actions and stated exam priorities and the extent to which they reflect the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC’s) focus on the enforcement and exam arenas in this Biden-Harris administration on the panel, “SEC Priorities and Enforcement.” The panel, which takes place on July 29 at 9:40 am, will also cover important court rulings that affect how the SEC may approach its enforcement program in the coming years.
