VSCPA Anti-Corruption Day of Learning

Litigation partner Justin Weitz will speak on the panel, "DOJ Expectations for Corporate Compliance Programs," at the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (CPAs’) Anti-Corruption Day of Learning. Justin's panel will meet from 3:30–4:30 pm ET.

In 2003, the UN General Assembly designated December 9 as International Anti-Corruption Day to raise awareness on the importance of anti-corruption initiatives. This year, the Virginia Society of CPAs is hosting its second annual virtual Anti-Corruption Day of Learning.

The conference will include five separate hour-long sessions on relevant anti-corruption matters, e.g., enforcement updates, the use of data analytics in anti-corruption compliance, and lessons learned from recent cases—among other topics. Speakers will include leading practitioners, in-house counsel, and representatives from the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the US Department of Justice.
