Morgan Lewis is proud to announce that partners Scott McBride and Albert Shay will be presenting at the American Health Law Association's Institute on Medicare and Medicaid Payment Issues on March 21 in Baltimore, MD.
Scott McBride's presentation—What Is an Overpayment Really?—will discuss the federal overpayments statute, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' proposed rule abandoning the “reasonable diligence" standard, and practical strategies for resolving potential overpayment situations. Scott's presentation will take place on Thursday, March 21st, 2024 from 9:15 AM–10:30 AM EST.
Albert Shay will also present Anything but Basic “Basics" that will cover the Physician Self-Referral Law. Al will use hypothetical scenarios to provide new insights into the law and discuss how to connect the dots between various pieces of governmental guidance. Albert's presentation will take place on Thursday, March 21st, 2024 from 1:15 PM–2:15 PM EST.
