Please join lawyers from our Labour and Employment Practice for the first session in our Employment Tribunal Seminar Series.

Our presenters will explain the employment tribunal process and discuss practical ways to prepare for and defend an employment tribunal claim. They will cover steps to minimise legal risk and disruption to a business once a claim has been filed as well as practical tips for managing document disclosure, selecting witnesses, and preparing witness statements. In addition, our presenters will discuss tribunal tactics, including how and when to engage in settlement negotiations.

Topics will include:

  • Drafting a response
  • Case-management directions
  • Preparing for a hearing

The second seminar in this series will be held in February 2015 and will offer a practical, interactive session in conjunction with employment barristers from Littleton Chambers, including a mock employment tribunal hearing.
