January 28, 2016
8:30 AM - 10:30 AM PT

China is experiencing an economic slowdown since the new leadership took power in 2012, which they sugarcoated as the "new normal."

To counter this headwind, the Chinese government launched a policy of encouraging people to start their own businesses and make their own innovations. But China’s leaders also understand that such a policy is fruitless without a legal system that offers strong IP protection. This is likely one of the reasons that China is preparing to launch a new round of amendments to its patent law, which was last amended in 2009.

Please join us over breakfast and a cup of coffee for a presentation exploring Chinese patent law.

Topics will include:

  • Highlights of the new round of amendments to Chinese patent law
  • Strategic planning of patent litigation in China
  • Practical tips for US companies to enforce Chinese patents

Schedule of events:
8:30–9:00 am | Breakfast and registration
