Richard Hand
Richard P. Hand focuses his practice on representing broker-dealers, investment advisers, and their employees in civil litigation and US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), self-regulatory organization, and state securities commission investigations, and conducting internal investigations for such firms. He has represented clients throughout the investigation and litigation process and has played key roles in litigating some of the most significant matters in the country in recent years.
Recently, Ricky served as a lead associate in defending against claims brought by both private plaintiffs and attorneys general across the country. In this role, Ricky provided key litigation support to multiple state teams simultaneously at all stages of litigation and served as the lead associate for defensive discovery and settlement. Further, Ricky assisted in developing and executing the discovery strategy adopted by the nationwide defense team.
