RAD Brain Workshop 2026

2026年1月27日 - 2026年1月29日

Intellectual property (IP) partner Mark Hayman, Ph.D., will participate in the Rare Advocate Development (RAD) Brain Workshop taking place January 27–29, 2026. Mark will lead the conference’s legal program, addressing IP issues and strategies that support and advance the missions of the foundations.

The RAD Brain Workshop is a three-day intensive meeting focused on the development of central nervous system (CNS)–based therapies and designed for rare disease patient advocates who are already funding or directly engaging in research. The program blends professional-led learning with practical skill-building in areas including brain structure and function, in vivo and in vitro research tools, diagnostics, therapeutic modalities, IND-enabling studies, clinical research, and regulatory pathways. This collaborative program is delivered by Global Genes, Mahzi Therapeutics, and the Rare Epilepsy Network (REN), a consortium of more than 150 members and partners committed to improving the lives and care of patients living with rare diagnoses through research.
