The arrival of Manita Rawat—Morgan Lewis partner, former managing partner of Duane Morris’ Silicon Valley office, and a former member of the Duane Morris governing partners’ board—and her team to Morgan Lewis was covered in a The Recorder article.
Manita and her team have worked together for almost 10 years and represent Fortune 100 and large technology companies.
The group includes of counsel Daniel Tarr, associate Tairan “Terry” Wang, patent prosecution specialist Mona Batmani, and senior paralegal Sherlin Yaghoubzadeh, who are based in the firm’s Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Chicago, and Los Angeles offices, respectively.
“Morgan Lewis is one of the few Am Law 100 firms that has a patent prosecution practice. A lot of Am Law 10 firms don’t even have that practice,” Manita said when asked about why she chose to move to Morgan Lewis.
