Partner Merryn Craske was quoted in a GlobalCapital article discussing the European Commission’s proposed reforms to the EU securitization market, including changes to liquidity coverage ratio rules, due diligence and reporting.
“The additional due diligence requirement for EU investors also risks putting them on a different playing field to non-EU investors,” Merryn said. “Particularly new investors in the market may be deterred from participating” she added.
