Morgan Lewis Announces Michael Rinehart as Chief Information Officer

PHILADELPHIA, April 22, 2026: Morgan Lewis is pleased to announce that Michael Rinehart has joined the firm as chief information officer, strengthening the firm’s technology platform and cybersecurity capabilities. Michael joins from Dechert, where he served as CIO, overseeing the growth and implementation of the firm’s information technology strategy.

In his role, Michael will lead the firm’s global information technology function, focusing on the continued development of secure, reliable, and scalable systems that support the firm’s lawyers and the delivery of client service. He brings significant experience in cybersecurity and enterprise infrastructure, further reinforcing the firm’s approach to information security and risk management. Michael will work in close coordination with Chief AI & Knowledge Management Officer Colleen Nihill and her team to ensure alignment between the firm’s technology platform and its data, AI, and knowledge initiatives.

Michael brings more than 25 years of experience across professional services and industry and focuses on information technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations, including enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Prior to Dechert, Michael served as chief information officer at Fox Rothschild, where he led technology strategy and operations for a decade. Earlier in his career, he held a range of technology leadership roles in professional services and industry.
