HOUSTON, May 20, 2015: Morgan Lewis represented Monterra Energy, a midstream energy company located in Houston and Mexico City, in its joint venture with KKR.
Monterra will focus on the development of new projects and acquisition of midstream assets and businesses in Mexico. The transaction represents one of the first investments in the Mexican energy sector after the Mexican Congress approved historic legislative changes opening the doors to foreign investment in the energy industry.
