Thomas Linthorst, a Morgan Lewis partner who co-leads the firm’s whistleblowing and retaliation task force, spoke withCorporate Counsel about what general counsel should do to create a culture where employees feel comfortable bring concerns forward. Tom says in the article that starts with training and detailed processes for handling concerns. He then suggests in-house counsel tell employees who bring formal complaints “some sense of what happened with the investigation and what’s being done about it.”
