HOUSTON, July 19, 2019: Morgan Lewis represented 2017-2018 NBA Most Valuable Player James Harden and his company 13 Endeavors LLC in the acquisition of a minority ownership interest in the Houston Dynamo, a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, along with the Houston Dash, a Women’s Major League Soccer franchise, and BBVA Compass Stadium. Morgan Lewis negotiated the transaction, which just received approval from the MLS, with the majority ownership group of the Dynamo, led by businessman Gabriel Brener.
The Morgan Lewis team was led by partners Sameer Mohan, Baird Fogel, Jeff Moorad, and Jon Morris, and associate Matthew Miller.
