Sameer V. Mohan
Sameer V. Mohan currently serves as deputy leader of the firm’s global corporate and business transactions practice, while concurrently serving as office leader of the Houston and Dallas corporate and business transactions practice. Sameer maintains a broad-based domestic and cross-border corporate and transactional practice across various industries including energy, life sciences and healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and sports. He represents public and private companies, including private equity funds and their portfolio companies, in complex transactions involving major infrastructure projects and joint ventures, with a primary focus on strategic mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Finning International Inc. as U.S. counsel in the sale of the company’s mobile on-site refueling business, operating through subsidiaries 4Refuel Holdings Limited, Midnight Holding, Inc., and their respective affiliates, to affiliates of H.I.G. Capital for up to $400 million
- MPLX LP, a subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum Corporation, in its acquisition of an equity interest in Blackcomb and Traverse Pipeline Holdings LLC, an $850 million midstream joint venture between Whistler Pipeline LLC and an affiliate of Targa Resources Corp., regarding the construction, ownership, and operation of an approximately 365 mile, 42-inch natural gas pipeline to be known as the Blackcomb Pipeline
