WASHINGTON, DC, November 18, 2019: Morgan Lewis represented the Internet Society (ISOC) in a transaction pursuant to which Ethos Capital will acquire Public Interest Registry (PIR) from ISOC.
ISOC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring the open development, evolution, and use of the internet. PIR is currently a supporting organization to ISOC that operates the .org top-level domain—one of the world’s largest generic top-level domains with more than 10 million domain names registered worldwide.
