CHICAGO, November 25, 2019: Morgan Lewis partner Dan Salemi has been recognized on Law Bulletin Publishing Co.’s 2019 40 Under Forty list of Illinois lawyers to watch. This annual list honors the exceptional work of lawyers under the age of 40 throughout the state.
Dan was selected by the publisher from more than 1,500 lawyers across Illinois. The peers and clients who nominated him for the designation referred to him as diligent and poised, and cited his ability to explain even the most complex benefits and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) issues in a way that is understandable to his clients.
Dan counsels clients on the full range of issues related to retirement plans, health and welfare plans, plan investments (under ERISA and individual US state laws), and deferred and equity-based compensation arrangements, helping them design and maintain state-of-the-art benefit plans to achieve unique operational goals. His broad experience in the employee benefits area includes the representation of clients in collective bargaining, litigation, and mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, Dan has been recognized by the 2019 Legal 500 US and Chambers USA guides for his work in employee benefits and compensation. He is an active member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
